Biography
Dr. Davide Margonato took his degree in medicine, with full marks and honours, at San Raffaele's University, Milan. In 2017, he began his 4-years period of specialitazion in cardiovascular diseases at S. Matteo Hospital, University of Pavia (head: Prof. S. Priori). During this period, he developed a particular expertise in the field of valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies and echocardiography. Since February 2022, he has been working in the Cardiovascular Imaging Department (head: Prof. E. Agricola) at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, focusing his work on valvular heart disease and interventional echocardiography. Moreover, he served as a research scholar in the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center at Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, Minneapolis, USA (head: Dr. J. Cavalcante) between Aug. 2023-Jan. 2025, and is currently an Associate Research Scientist of this Institution
