Dr. Davide Margonato took his degree in medicine, with full marks and honours, at San Raffaele's University, Milan. In 2017, he began his 4-years period of specialitazion in cardiovascular diseases at S. Matteo Hospital, University of Pavia (head: Prof. S. Priori). During this period, he developed a particular expertise in the field of valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies and echocardiography. He completed his cardiac specialization period (full marks with honours) discussing the thesis "The long-term clinical course of moderate tricuspid regurgitation". Since February 2022, he has been working in the Cardiovascular Imaging Department (head: Prof. E. Agricola) at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, focusing his work on valvular heart disease and interventional echocardiography. Currently, he is spending a period as a research scholar in the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center at Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, Minneapolis, USA (head: Dr. J. Cavalcante)
