Biography
Mathias Van Hemelrijck is a Junior Consultant at the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Triemli Hospital Zurich and University Hospital Zurich.
He is since September 2023 Member of the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery (Adult Cardiac Surgery), and since March 2024 Fellow of the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery (Subspeciality Cardiovascular Surgery Critical Care).
His research focuses on cardiovascular infections (infective endocarditis and aortic graft infections).
