Gong Su, MD, Ph.D, is the Director of Cardiovascular Department at Shanghai General Hospital Baoshan Campus, Research Scientist of University of Utah School of Medicine as well as the Consultant Researcher of Institute of Chinese Healthy City. His special interests include complicated ischemic heart diseases, interventional cardiology, diabetes and heart failure. Dr. Su’s research activities span clinical and basic research and are focused on the impact of glucose metabolism on cardiovascular complications as well as the characteristics of atherosclerotic lesions in diabetic patients. Dr. Su is the recipient of JDRF silver award in United State.
