Iain Gillingham is a Lecturer in Nursing at Edinburgh Napier University. He is a nurse with over 25 years' experience specialising in cardiac nursing and has expertise in interventional cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, and inherited cardiac conditions. His research focus is on the cardiac cath lab healthcare system, and how the development of professional roles can meet the needs of the patient in a modernising healthcare environment.
