Dr. Lucy McGrath-Cadell BAppSc(Physiotherapy)(Hons1), MBBS, MPH, FRACP, graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 and completed physician cardiology training through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney in 2020. Alongside her clinical training she worked with a team at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Sydney researching the clinical phenotype, pathophysiology and genetics of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) and has co-authored several papers on the topic since 2016. She is undertaking a PhD through the University of NSW, Sydney into the mechanisms and genetics of SCAD under the supervision of Prof Robert Graham and Prof Jason Kovacic. She plans to undertake a postdoctoral fellowship in an overseas centre of excellence in 2025, on completion of her PhD.
