Biography
Paolo Sciarrone, MD is an Internal Medicine specialist, performing clinical research and activity in advanced echocardiography and non-invasive hemodynamics in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. He is certified in EACVI transthoracic echocardiography. Dr. Sciarrone works at Fondazione Monasterio, and is currently enrolled in the PhD programme in Translational Medicine at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa, Italy. His work focuses on improving diagnostic and prognostic tools for pulmonary hypertension in left heart disease and pulmonary arterial hypertension, using advanced echocardiographic techniques.
