Member of:

European Heart Rythm Association

Francesco has an interdisciplinary education in Energy Engineering (MSc, Politecnico of Turin, 2013 and Milan, 2014), Alta Scuola Politecnica (an excellence program focusing on complex multidisciplinary innovation projects) and Mechanical Engineering (PhD, ETH Zurich). During his PhD at ETH Zurich, Francesco focused his interest towards the Biomedical Engineering field, investigating the effect of surface micro/nanotopography on cellular response and applying the fundamental aspects of this research to material for medical devices (e.g. biomaterials, implantable materials). Francesco is author of several peer reviewed publications and presented the results and the vision of his projects in several international events and courses (e.g. Material Research Society in Boston, USA).
