Mr Zhengwei Chen

Dr. Zheng-Wei Chen is a cardiologist and interventional cardiologist specializing in hypertension, primary aldosteronism, pulmonary hypertension, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, and cardiovascular outcomes research. He serves as a Specialist in Cardiology and Medicine and Assistant Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Internal Medicine at National Taiwan University Hospital, Yun-Lin Branch. His clinical expertise includes cardiac catheterization, pulmonary hypertension evaluation, balloon pulmonary angioplasty, and management of complex hypertensive and cardiometabolic disorders. His research focuses on primary aldosteronism, aldosterone-related vascular injury, HFpEF, and machine-learning–based risk prediction. He is also actively involved in academic education and professional society activities. Outside medicine, Dr. Chen enjoys traveling, road trips, and badminton. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
