Carys is a Heart failure nurse consultant at Imperial College healthcare Trust in London. Current Chair British Society for Heart failure nurse forum and as such coopted British Society for Heart failure board member. Prior to this Deputy Chair British Society for Heart failure nurse forum 2018-20 and board observer 2017 -2019. Other positions held are vice chair of the Pan London heart failure steering committee and committee member of the British Geriatric society Cardiovascular Special Interest Group, member of the Cardio renal scientific committee. Honorary lecturer on Masters modules for HF and co author of the BSHNF HFSN competency framework. Carys works on several projects with policy makers to improve provision and access to HF services. A keen to supporter of heart failure patient charities. Her goal is to ensure equitable, consistent and excellent standards of care for people living with heart failure.
