Edward Fry, MD, FACC, FSCAI was born in Dublin, Ireland. He attended medical school at Washington University, in St. Louis. Dr. Fry completed Cardiology Fellowship at Washington University then remained on faculty as Assistant Professor and Medical Director of the Cardiac Transplant Program. His research focused on pharmaco-kinetics and -dynamics of genetically modified plasminogen activators. He completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Ascension/St. Vincent, Indianapolis. He joined Ascension/St. Vincent in 1991 and has remained there since as a busy interventional and general cardiologist and administrator. He currently serves as Chair of the Ascension National CV Service Line. He helped launch and served as Board Chair of Navion Health Care Solutions, LLC. Currently, he is President of ACC. He has served on the ACC Board of Trustees; Board of Managers of MedAxiom; as well as on numerous ACC committees, sections, work groups, and task forces.
