Georg Saurer has been working as a cardiologist for 15 years at the Department of Cardiology and Intensive Care at LKH Graz 2, Austria . He earned his medical degree from Karl-Franzens-University in Graz, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at LKH Universitätsklinikum Graz and his fellowship in Cardiology and Internal Intensive Care at LKH Graz 2. He holds the EHRA certified cardiac device specialist level 1. His special interests are arrhythmias, device therapy and syncope. He was the leading investigator in a project to implement a syncope pathway in LKH Graz 2 and the main hospitals in the county of Styria, Austria.
