Alessio Marinelli, MD, is a clinical and interventional cardiac electrophysiologist at Villa Sofia Hospital NHS, in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. He obtained his Medical Degree and diploma in Cardiology at the University of Padua, Italy. After graduation he served as research fellow at the same University. He was an EP fellow at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan), Leicester University and Royal Brompton/Imperial College (UK) from 2015 to 2020. In 2024 he went back to his homeland, Palermo/Sicily, in Villa Sofia Hospital. He works in the EP laboratory, focusing on all the fields of interventional electrophysiology and is starting with an EP and inherited cardiac condition clinic in the same Institution. He is member of the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), European Heart Rhythm Society (EHRA), European Cardiology Society (ESC), Italian Cardiology Society (SIC) and Italian Arrhythmia Society (AIAC). He is a member of the Editorial Board of Heart Rhythm Case Reports and reviewer for others Journals.
