Maria G. Trivieri, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Cardiology, Medicine, and of Radiology, and is Medical Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Mount Sinai. The Trivieri Lab focuses on investigating key molecular mechanisms responsible for the onset and progression of Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) using state of the art techniques of stem cell biology, tissue engineering and hybrid imaging modalities (PET/MR). Dr Trivieri’s work has been consistently founded throughout the years, with awards from the T32 Training Grant, the KL2 Training Grant, the Career Development Award from the American Heart Association (AHA), the Bayer Pulmonary Hypertension Accelerated Award, The United Therapeutic Investigator Award, the Department of Defense (DOD) and the NIH.
