Assoc. Prof. Vilma Dzenkeviciute, MD, PhD, FESC, is a preventive cardiologist and Associated Professor in the Department of Cardiology and Angiology at the Vilnius University Hospital Santaros clinics. Additionally, she serves as the Head of Residents in the Internal Medicine clinic at Vilnius University. She obtained her medical degree from Vilnius University in 1995 and her PhD from the same University in 2011. In 2000, she specialised in preventive cardiology and was awarded the title of Assistant Professor in Medical faculty at Vilnius University in 2014. Assoc. Prof. Vilma Dzenkeviciute is involved in clinical and preventive cardiology and the non-invasive assessment of atherosclerosis using ultrasonography and CT.
