Dr. Martina Chiriacò is an internal medicine physician specializing in metabolic and cardiovascular disorders at the University of Pisa. She earned her degree in Medicine in 2017 and completed her specialization in Internal Medicine in 2023, both at the University of Pisa. She also obtained a diploma in Medical Sciences from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in 2018, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Translational Medicine. Her clinical and research focus includes diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension and pharmacology. She has authored or over 30 international publications and presented at national and international conferences. She has received research funding for her research from the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes for studying the cardiovascular effects of novel anti-diabetic drugs.
She lives with two cats and a cardiologist and likes stories in every form (books, movies, music).
