Biography
Dr. Ilia Davarashvili is a cardiologist and internal medicine specialist with extensive experience in clinical medicine, preventive cardiology, research, and healthcare innovation. He serves as Director of Bikurofe Health Services in the Jerusalem region and practices cardiology within Maccabi, Meuhedet, and Leumit Health Services. He is also a member of the Scientific Board for Education and Research at Leumit.
His clinical and research interests include heart failure, cardiovascular prevention, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CM), and artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine. His research focuses particularly on early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, AI-guided population screening, and translating large healthcare databases into practical tools for improved patient care.
Outside medicine, he enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, and spending time with his dogs. He speaks Hebrew, English, Russian, and Georgian.
