Doctor Aleksandra Blachut

Dr. Aleksandra Blachut is a cardiologist with specialized expertise in electrophysiology, cardio-oncology, and clinical research. After earning her MD from the Medical University of Silesia in 2013, Dr. Blachut pursued advanced training in cardiology through a fellowship at the San Antonio Endovascular and Heart Institute in San Antonio, USA. In 2023, she completed a PhD focusing on the use of intravascular optical coherence tomography to assess restenosis in an animal model. To further expand her expertise in clinical research, Dr. Blachut undertook postgraduate studies in clinical research methodology and management at Jagiellonian University, Kraków (2023-2024). She has also been involved in numerous international clinical trials for many years, serving as PI and SI. Since 2019, Dr. Blachut has been working at SCCS, performing electrophysiological procedures. In her free time, she enjoys living well, reading books, and embracing the many benefits of culture.
