Biography
Dr. Rodica Diaconu is a board-certified cardiologist and PhD in Medicine, practicing at CardioEcho Clinic, a private cardiovascular center in Craiova, Romania. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova in 2016, where she completed her cardiology residency and obtained her specialist certification. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the same institution. Her work integrates clinical practice and research, focusing on acute and chronic heart failure, echocardiography, and the genetic epidemiology of cardiovascular disease. Since residency, she has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences. She gained international experience at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on molecular biology and experimental cardiology, and continued her research in the Human Genomics Laboratory in Craiova. She currently combines clinical practice with scientific research.
