Biography
Beatrice Simeone is an Italian cardiologist and Staff Cardiologist at the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases, ICOT University Hospital (Sapienza University of Rome). She is currently a PhD candidate in Experimental Medicine at Sapienza University and holds a Level II Master’s degree in Clinical Competence in Cardiac Intensive Care. Her clinical expertise encompasses advanced echocardiography, intensive cardiac care, and the management of complex heart failure and cardiomyopathies. She leads a dedicated outpatient clinic for cardiomyopathies, including both hereditary and wild-type transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTRh and ATTRw). Dr. Simeone is actively engaged in translational, clinical, and epidemiological cardiovascular research, serves as sub-investigator in international clinical trials, and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications. She is fluent in Italian and English and frequently lectures at national and international cardiology congresses.
