Born in Syria and raised in the Netherlands, Dr. Haroun completed his medical studies in Amsterdam. He specializes in general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, and medical education, and is committed to advancing cardiac care and training. As a dedicated advocate for education, he actively educates a wide range of audiences and has contributed to the national cardiologist training program. Currently, he is a Cardiologist at ZGT. He served on the Junior Council of the Dutch Society of Cardiology and the National Association of Employed Doctors (LAD). Additionally, he represents the Netherlands in the Young Cardiac Society of the European Society of Cardiology and mentors medical trainees. In his free time, he enjoys expanding his knowledge, exercising, and composing and listening to music.
