Biography
Dr. Zahir Satti is a highly skilled interventional cardiologist with a vast experience in performing over 1,500 coronary angiographies and angioplasties, including complex procedures like primary PCI and left main stem stenting. He is proficient in using advanced techniques such as intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Dr. Satti earned his MBBS from the University of Khartoum and holds an MSc in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh. He is ECFMG certified, having successfully passed the USMLE exams. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Dr. Satti is deeply involved in education and leadership. His research focuses on thrombectomy in primary PCI and structural valve degeneration following TAVI, with numerous publications in prestigious journals.
