Jelena Pavlovic is an epidemiologist with strong affinity for public health, originally trained as a medical doctor at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade (Serbia). Epidemiological studies in the field of preventive cardiology are main focus of her PhD thesis, that she is carrying out at the Department of Epidemiology at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). She also worked as a field epidemiologist for Medecines Sans Frontières.
