Biography
In 1992, she graduated from the Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. In 1999, she was appointed as an associate professor and in 2005 as a full professor of cardiology. Between 2010-2021, she worked at the Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine department of cardiology.In 2009, she founded the Sakarya University WOMEN and HEALTH Research Center. In 2022, she was appointed to the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul. In 2018, she established the Digital Health project group at the Turkish Society of Cardiology and served as the founding director until 2024. In 2022, she was elected as a member of the Digital Health Committee at the European Society of Cardiology. In 2024 she established “SUN healthcare and medical technologies company “at the technology transfer office of Health Sciences University and currently works as the CEO for this company .Her primary interests are “Artificial intelligence in cardiology”, “Heart disease in women “ & multimodal imaging''
