Doctor Stefano Nistri

Stefano Nistri, MD PhD took his Degree in Medicine at the University of Firenze, his Post Graduate in Cardiology at the University of Padova, and served as a fellow in the Cardiomyopathy Center at Careggi Florence Hospital and acted as a member of the ESC Guidelines on HCM. Took his PhD in Experimental and Applied Internal Medicine at the University of Firenze. He carries his clinical activity in an outpatient, primary-care setting, accredited with the Italian National Health System (Chief of the Cardiology Service of CMSR Veneto Medica in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy). He also runs a 2-year research contract at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Sciences and Public Health His research focuses on echocardiography in valvular heart disease, HCM, aortopathies, subclinical LV dysfunction - centering on diastole. He fluently speaks English He loves internal martial arts, reading, traveling and adores spending time with his family.
