Francesco Pollari received his medical degree at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in 2007. Since 2013 he is cardiac surgeon at the Nuremberg General Hospital and since 2021 he is Associate Professor at the Paracelsus Medical University. In 2022 he won the Techno College Innovation Award at 36th EACTS Annual Meeting in Milan. Pollari’s research is focused on the surgical treatment of heart disease, in particular minimal invasive surgery, TAVI and mechanical circulatory support.
