Francesco Pollari received his medical degree at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in 2007. Since 2013 joined the Cardiac Surgery Department of Klinikum Nürnberg, one of the biggest municipal hospital in Europe. Since 2019 he is adjunct professor (“Privat Dozent”) at the Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg. In 2019 also completed his Ph.D. in “Cardiac-Thoracic-Vascular Pathophysiology and Imaging” at the University of Rome “Sapienza”. Dr. Pollari’s research focused on the interventional treatment of aortic valve disease, in particular minimal invasive surgery, sutureless aortic valve replacement and TAVI.
