Doctor Luca Soattin

University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen (Denmark)

Luca Soattin is a British Heart Foundation research associate and electrophysiologist with interests in translational research for atrial fibrillation and disorders of the cardiac conduction system at the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences (University of Manchester, UK). After his MSc in pharmaceutical and medical biotechnology (University of Genoa, IT), he received his PhD as Marie Skłodowska–Curie fellow in cardiovascular research at the University of Copenhagen (DK) and at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (DE). His main research interests are: - Atrial-pulmonary vein junction electroanatomical remodelling in "in vivo" endurance training - Epi-endo dissociation mapping by high density MEAs of sinus node complex in a goat chronic AF model - Electroanatomical mapping of sinus node exit pathways in atrial flutter patients undergone catheter ablation procedures

Adenosine 1 receptor activation plays a proarrhythmic role in rat atrium
