DeLisa Fairweather, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida with a joint appointment in the Department of Immunology and adjunct appointments at University of North Florida in Jacksonville and Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. She received her PhD in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Western Australia and conducted a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is Vice-Chair of Translational Research for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Co-Director of Research for the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) Clinic at Mayo Clinic Florida as well as on the Executive Committee for Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Predoctoral Students. Her researcher interests focus on viral myocarditis and heart failure as well as hypermobile EDS. She has around 150 publications and an H-index of 55.
