I am a cardiac surgeon specializing in heart valve, arrhythmia, and minimally invasive surgery. I am currently employed as a professor in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Severance Cardiovascular Hospital , Yonsei University in South Korea. I am also a member of various professional societies and organizations, including: Korea Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (KSTCVS), Korea Society of Cardiology (KSC),Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS). European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), Asian Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (ASCVT), Asian Heart Rhythm Society (AHRS), Heart Valve Society (HVS),International Society of Lung and Heart Transplantation (ISHLT), and International Master proctor of Perceval sutureless valve system. I`m the 6th international master proctor for Perceval sutureless valve implantation and Asian first master proctor.
