Professor Todd Villines

Dr. Villines is the Julian Ruffin Beckwith Distinguished Professor of Medicine and a Cardiologist at the University of Virginia Health System, Cardiovascular Imaging Center, in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Dr. Villines completed undergraduate training at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Walter Reed National Medical Center. He is the current Executive Editor of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT (JCCT) and Chair of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Imaging Section. Dr. Villines is a Past President of the Society of Cardiovascular CT (2017-2018) and Past Chair of the ACC Federal Cardiology Section. Dr. Villines has published more than 220 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and 10 books/chapters in the areas of cardiovascular imaging and prevention.
