Edita Pogran is a cardiology resident at the 3 rd medical Department for Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine in Clinic Ottakring, Vienna, Austria. She studied general medicine at the 3 rd medical faculty at Charles University in Prague. She is continuing her study at the Medical University in Vienna, where she is studying postgraduate program in Vascular Biology. Her research focuses mainly on hyperlipidemia, platelet function, Takotsubo Syndrome, and myocardial infarction under the supervision of Prof. Kurt Huber. Furthermore, she is active as a lector at the Medical University in Vienna and Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna.
