Doctor Timothy Chico

Tim is Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Sheffield and a consultant Cardiologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is Director of the EPSRC/UKRI funded South Yorkshire Digital Health Hub. He is also Director of Health at the British Heart Foundation. Tim's career has spanned academia and industry across genetics, vascular biology, drug discovery and health data science. He jointly leads South Yorkshire's specialist service for pregnant women with heart disease and sits on the council of the UK Maternal Cardiology Society.
