Biography
Dr Momina Yazdani is a clinical research fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. She is undertaking a PhD funded by a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship and Myocarditis UK. Her research interests are in studying gene-environement interactions in cardiomyopathy harnessing induced plurpotent stem cell disease modelling technologies combined with single cell and spatial transcriptomics. She graduated from the University of Nottingham medical school with Distinction and 1st Class Honours intercalation. She was an NIHR Academic Foundation Programme trainee in Sheffield before being appointed an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Cardiology in South London in 2019.
