Biography
Dr. Branch, a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and has particular expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and clinical trials. He has been awarded the Cardiology Teaching Excellence Award and the School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education Teaching Award. He is currently the director of Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Washington and associate program director for the cardiology fellowship. He has been on the steering committee for many large trials Data and Safety Monitoring Boards. He is on the Executive Committee and is President-Elect of the Society of Cardiovascular CT, is a member of the Cardiovascular Imaging Section Leadership Council and is also Chair of the Rick Nishimura and Patrick O’Gara Emerging Faculty Leadership Academy for the American College of Cardiology.
