Member of:

Heart Failure Association

A Canadian trained nurse who has lived and practiced as a nurse in the UK since 2009. As a research nurse she worked in cardiology. The speciality of heart failure captured her interest and in 2022 she completed my PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Southampton which asked, "How do symptoms in chronic heart failure interact with burden of treatment?" The research completed as a part of her PhD also saw her being the first nurse to receive the British Society of Heart Failure Early Investigator award in 2021. She is now working as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Stavanger on a nurse assisted eHealth intervention research project. This role sees her splitting her time between Norway and the UK. In addition to her role in Norway she is working on building research capacity as a Clinical Academic Nurse Research at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS trust, with a focus on nursing research.
