Doctor Samia Toukhsati

Samia has a background in behavioural neuroscience and specialises in health/clinical psychology, with particular emphasis in the field of behavioural medicine. Samia's work has been recognised by 47 publications with over 1200 citations, 4 book chapters and over 40 conference presentations. She has received over $500,000 in research funding and $125,000 in awards/scholarships and was the recipient of two Australian Government Research Fellowships and an Australian Academy of Science Fellowship. Samia holds honorary positions at Austin Health, Department of Cardiology and Melbourne University Faculty of Medicine.
