Alberto Sarmento (MD, MSc Eng) is a physician and engineer on information and communications technologies for Primary Health Care. In the USA, he developed multimedia, interactive e-learning materials, and website to assist biomedical and continuing education for curriculum reform (UCONN, Storrs, CT). Currently, his research focuses on telehealth interventions for prevention and treatment.
