Biography
After graduating in Medicine, I obtained the specialization in Geriatrics, both with full marks and honors, at the University of Rome "Sapienza". I reached my Ph.D. in Pathophysiology and Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Imaging, at the "Sapienza" University of Rome, Italy. I am a member of the Italian Society of Cardiology and I coordinate the Study Group of Cardiovascular Gender Diseases. I collaborate with the University of Milan and the IRCCS Cardiologico Monzino. I am member of Observatory group for Gender Medicine for the Italian Health Institute. My research focuses on the study of heart failure, sudden cardiac death and gender differences in cardiology. I usually perform echocardiography and non-invasive hemodynamic study of elderly, pluripathological patients and multidimensional pre-TAVR evaluation.
