Doctor Bibiana Kafkova

Bibiána Kafková, MD is cardiologist with over 25 years of clinical practice both in a university hospital and in a specialized cardiovascular institute. Since 2003, she has been working at the East Slovakia Cardiovascular Institute in Košice, Cardiology Clinic. Prior to this role, she worked at the University Hospital Košice from 1996 to 2022, Internal medicine Clinic. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in 1996 and obtained her board certifications in Internal Medicine in 1999 and 2004, and in Cardiology in 2010. Her professional interests include pulmonary circulation, pulmonary hypertension, pulmoanry embolism, heart failure, and cardiovascular imaging. She is a native Slovak speaker and has professional working proficiency in English.
