Rosario Caruso, PhD, MSc, RN, FAAN is an Associate Professor in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences at the University of Milan, Italy, where he leads teaching, research, and mentoring activities across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. He serves as Director of the Board of the Foundation of Nurse Specialists Europe (FoNSE), as the President of the Italian Association of Cancer Care (AIIAO), and as Lead of the Clinical Research Service at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato. Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the European Specialist Nurses Organisation, and listed among the World Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier, his work focuses on advancing nursing science through leadership in clinical research, international collaborations, and innovative educational initiatives. Personal hobbies: scuba diving, good reading, and motorcycles.
