I am working on clinical and translational research projects aiming to understand cancer therapy-associated cardiotoxicity at the Clinic for Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, University Hospital Essen, Germany. Additionally, I am aiming to understand the roIe of lymphocytes in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury. I am interested in preclinical and clinical models of toxic cardiomyopathy, myocardial metabolism and immunology.
