Dr. Ayodipupo Oguntade is a senior registrar and physician at the cardiology unit of the University College Hospital, Ibadan. He is a seasoned medical practitioner with a decade of experience in the public health sector. He is an award winning physician and a Chevening/UK FCO scholar at the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London. He is an editorial board member of the American College of Cardiology Fellows-In-Training (ACC FIT) webpage. Dr Oguntade is interested in the phenotypic and genetic substrates of cardiovascular diseases especially heart failure and hypertension in Nigerian Africans. He has attended several international conferences during his medical training. He is presently the principal investigator of the “Prognostic Implication of Right Ventricular Systolic Function” Study Group and is also a member of the Stroke Investigative Research and Education Network (SIREN).
