Dr. Rroku is currently working as a Cardiology Resident at the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charite, Berlin under the supervision of Dr. Reinthaler and Prof.Dr.med U.Landmesser (Currently focused on structural heart-pathologies involving transcatheter treatment of aortic,mitral- and tricuspid regurgitation). Actively involved in and coordinating several research projects in the field of left atrial appendage closure. Graduated from medical school in LMU-Munich, Germany 2018. Doctoral Researcher at the German Heart Centre Munich as a Member of the ISAResearch Center under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Kastrati and Prof.Dr. Byrne. Doctoral thesis with title : "Qualitative and quantitative neointimal characterization by optical coherence tomography in patients presenting with in-stent restenosis." (2019) Peer reviewer in multiple international journals. Member of American College of Cardiology (ACC-Member), European Society of Cardiology (ESC Professional Member) and PCR-Companion (2019).
