Dr. Rroku is a board-certified cardiologist and Interventional/Structural Heart Fellow at the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité, Berlin. His clinical expertise spans complex coronary interventions, high-risk PCI with mechanical circulatory support, acute cardiovascular care, and transcatheter structural and valvular therapies, including mitral and tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair and left atrial appendage occlusion. He is co-founder of the DHZC-Charité LAAC program and serves as co-principal investigator or clinical investigator in numerous global studies. His research focuses on advanced intracoronary imaging—particularly OCT-based plaque characterization and risk stratification—non-ischemic high-risk coronary lesions, cardiogenic shock management, and outcomes of transcatheter valve interventions. He is an Associate and Core Member of the EAPCI Educational Content Committee, contributing to ESC education, congress sessions, and training in interventional cardiology.
