Biography
Lamija Ferhatbegović, MD, PhD, FESC, is a cardiologist at the Cantonal Hospital Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Assistant Professor at the University of Zenica. Her clinical and research interests include heart failure, echocardiography, preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, and cardiometabolic diseases. She is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), Young Ambassador of the Heart Failure Association for Bosnia and Herzegovina, President of the Working Group on Lipidology of the Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a Board Member of the Heart Failure World Association. Dr. Ferhatbegović is actively involved in international research collaborations and cardiovascular education, with a particular focus on improving cardiovascular prevention and patient care.
