Hala Mahfouz Badran is a Professor of Cardiology at Menoufia University and is the Chairman of Egyptian Working Group of Echocardiography (EEWG). She is the Director of Yacoub Research Unit at Menoufia University and is a Fellow of Royal college of physician and a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). Professor Hala has been a member of the European Society of Cardiology since 2007 and a member of the European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) since 2006. In addition, she is also a member of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and has been a reviewer for the Egyptian Universities Promotion Committee (EUPC) Cardiology Division. Professor Hala has been a member of the Egyptian Universities Promotion Committee Board, Head of the Cardiology Department at Menoufia University and a Fellow of Cardiology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, USA. She has also acted as a reviewer in over 12 international journals.
