Dr. Sampath Kumar Amaravadi is an Assistant Professor in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham. He holds a PhD in Physiotherapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and completed postdoctoral training in rehabilitation sciences in Brazil. His expertise lies in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, exercise interventions for T2DM, and evidence-based rehabilitation, with particular interests in simulation-based education, interprofessional learning, and inclusive pedagogy. Dr. Amaravadi has published widely in international journals, and has accepted contributions to book chapters, including the forthcoming ESC Textbook of Preventive Cardiology. He serves on editorial boards for several journals and was recognised as a European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) Young Ambassador Fellow, continuing as an ESC Social Media Ambassador. Fluent in English, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, he actively engages with professional and community initiatives worldwide.
