Bartosz Rylski is a consultant cardiovascular surgeon and co-director of Vascular Surgery Program at the Heart Centre Freiburg University, Germany. He studied at Charite in Berlin and completed his fellowship at Penn University in Philadelphia. He is a winner of overall 10 scientific awards including Cliffort Award STSA 2013, Hans Borst Award EACTS 2013, Techno College Innovation Award EACTS 2015 and EACTS/STS Award 2015. Author of patent on valve carrying ascending aortic stentgraft, novel atraumatic aortic clamp and TEVAR app. Chairman of the EACTS Transcatheter Techniques Task Force and EACTS Endovascular Aortic Task Force. Associate Editor in EJCTS and Domain Editor in MMCTS. Reviewer in 14 Journals. Pianist.
