Professor Faizel Osman

Professor Osman qualified in Medicine in 1995 from University of Wales College of Medicine in 1995 and was trained in the West Midlands in Cardiology. He completed his training in Cardiology in 2007 and completed his postgraduate MD degree (PhD equivalent) in 2004. His sub specialist training in EP and Devices was au University Hospital Birmingham , University Hospital North Midlands and University Hospital Leicester (Glenfield). He was appointed consultant in 2008 at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and Honorary Professor of Cardiology with Warwick University (Warwick Medical School) in 2018. He has developed a fully comprehensive EP/Devices service and his research interests include AF, sudden cardiac death risk assessment and CRT pacing. He has published extensively and is active in both clinical work and research.
