Maks Mihalj has been in Residency in Cardiac Surgery at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at University Hospital Bern since 2016. He completed his medical shool at the Ludwig-Maximillians-University in Munich in 2016. His area of interest and focused research in cardiothoracic surgery lies in the field of Advanced Heart Failure, including Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices, Cardiac Transplantation and Cardiac Xenotransplantation.
