Biography
Dr. Aykan Celik is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Izmir Katip Celebi University Faculty of Medicine and a cardiologist at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in Izmir, Türkiye. He received his medical degree from Ege University and completed his cardiology residency at Izmir Katip Celebi University. His clinical and research interests include interventional cardiology, cardiac implantable electronic devices, acute coronary syndromes, structural heart interventions, bleeding risk, cardiorenal interactions, prognostic biomarkers, and outcomes after TAVI and left atrial appendage closure. He is also involved in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced statistical methods in cardiovascular research. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and EAPCI.
