Doctor Ambra Masi

Dr. Masi is a cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and heart failure. She earned her MD summa cum laude from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and completed her general cardiology training in Italy. In 2018, she moved to the UK to undertake specialist training at the University of Oxford and University College London. She is currently based at at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), where she collaborates with CIBM and EPFL. In 2025, she was awarded a grant from the Emma Muschamp Foundation to pursue her research interest on the application of non-contrast CMR mapping for risk stratification and outcome prediction in patients with HFpEF.
